the embark on nature's beauty

hi all..all week i have been so busy tight up wit practices,shopping, caroling n everything else..so today decided to go on a diff kinda outing instead..visit NATURE..hahaha..

initially it was set for kris to prac on her photography skills wit her DSLR..but it ended up having able to encounter a whole lot more..

so after wrapping presents at manda's..i got home to get ready n headed out wit kris..d plan almost got called off last nite due to some probs..but thank god we manage to calm ourselves down n made d plan work..it wudve been a real waste if we haven did wat we did today..

enuf of crap..

while on d road was contemplating whether to head to Lookout Point first of to MV cos kris needed to get some stuff..but d weather wasnt too convincing..so we headed to LOP so dat we cud take shots b4 d rain came down..

so on d way up Kris said abt Stef telling her abt waterfall near LOP..s far s i know all d waterfalls near dat area r deeper into d kampung area..so we tried locating waterfall on d way up LOP n found none..so end up taking shots at LOP itself..n so d shooting began..i was kris guinea pig la ahh..cos im so not fit to b called her model..=/ i will let d pics do d talking now..hehe

decided to try taking my photographer..lolz..ironic ehh..but we do make a good pair..coorperation is important ppl..hehe..

n so after climbing up n down d stairs n MORE stairs..we headed to Gasoline to have a drink..was quite dehidrated..hehe..we end up liking each others drink instead of d drink we ordered..d weirdness...beats me..

after our drink we act decided to head home instead of goin to MV..but on d way down we saw sign boards headin to waterfalls..n so without hesitation we went on d hunt for d waterfall..coincidentally stef msged us n told us which waterfall she was mentioning..we were on d right track thank god..

it was a long n winding road..n kris cud even go "are we there yet"..so ya..it was quite a distance..not dat near afterall..n after almost 15km of long n winding road..we finally reach there..n boy was it awesome..it was realli worth d drive n time..d feeling cud beat shopping man..hehe..n so continues d posing n picture taking in not so appropriate outfit..hehe

we den wanted to take exposure shots on d highway but hack it was jam..so cars we moving SLOW..ended up us playin at d playground n taking more pics..wth rite? hehe

neways overall it was a WELL SPENT TRIP..besides petrol price wen down another 10cents..may head there more n in more proper outfits eh..hehe..

SHOPPPIN~~

Just got bak from dinner wit family at Coliseum..sound so ancient right..i haven been there for god knows how many years..n d food still rocks..

neways still excited after a whole day walking pavilion n shoppin wit mum..lucky i din scold her for wakin me up so earli...(9am)..hehe..went for floral arrangement in church first..was kinda scared of leavin late cos PC fair goin on..traffic might b bad..neways we finished floral abt 12+..den mum was worried abt d clothes dats left under d sun to dry..so came bak to bring them in b4 it rained..at d same time she took a quick shower..sempat lagi..

1st time my mum said LET's Go for shoppin..i was still happily watchin Paramore's Decode video clip on tv..twilight soundtrack..Edward n Bella on d tree..awww...i was glued to d screen wen mum shouted lets go..so ya..off we went..

traffic wasnt too bad..yest was worst..stupid friday..traffic was smooth all d way into Pavilion..happy driving..best still..found carpark right in front of d entrance..how awesome..feeling lucky aledi even b4 shoppin..so i new it was a good start..

having eaten some bread in d car, we skipped lunch..din wanna waste anymore time..hehe..headed up to d 1st floor..initially wanted to go Forever 21 first..but saw Ms.Read first..so got mum in since she said she wanted to find tops n i saw some pretty nice wans on hangin..

so got her to try a few...n A few more..n more..i dunno whether she pretend to like it or wat..but all dat i chose she tested it n liked it n she got all..so ya..she told me not to mention how many but yeah..u get me..no oni dat..she manage to sign up for d member card..u can check out how much u needa spend in order to sign up..not oni dat..she got a free vinyl goldish brown bag n a leather card holder which is freakin awesome..n both suits my mum..how awesome is dat..even i was happy for her..hehe..so after an hour or so..we were done wit Ms.Read..prac her shoppin was done even b4 mine begun..=/

next stop..Forever 21..my land..hehe..saw a few nice wans..manage to find size for those dat i liked..got them into d fitting room..s usual..out of d 5, oni 1/2 could fit nicely n looked nice..so got both d wan dat fitted n mum liked..one was a black shoulder/back laced top n another was a redish long sleeved with somethin to tie behind..so both me like..hehe..mum straight got me to d counter n said to go somewhere else to look for a dress..suddenly she sound so cool right..hmmph..i wonder why..lolz..

neways after dat was walkin in Parkson..where we found cun dresses from Warehouse..selected 3 n put it to d test..hehe..first wan was a purplish wan which was a heavy kinda material which i liked d back..den d other wan was a blue-ish print..mum said it looked like an army dress..wth..din fit well..so d last piece was a 2 strap crossed back,satin/silkish print dress..d material is so nice u feel like dancing..everythin was nice but one strap which wasnt adjustable was loose..so it din look so nice from d bak..sighh..so decided to note down d design n maybe tailor make one in d future..

after tryin those..everythin else seem so not dat attractive anymore..=/ well it was way cheaper but it jus din catch our attention..by den i was aledi giving up..walked n walked n walked..ntg nice..finally our last stop b4 we headed down for makan..saw Zara opposite of us..so told mum..one last stop b4 goin down..so headed in..straight there were a few dat caught our eyes..mum saw a purplish dress..i saw more Black dresses..i somehow have a thing for black dresses for xmas i dunno y..i have errr..4/5 black dresses n i wore it all for xmas..i tot i may b able to get somethin diff dis year but maybe i shud juz set my own trend of having black dress n interesting shoes for xmas..BTW, i got the Guess Okanarra Shoe i blogged abt, yest..=)

so took 5 pieces into d dressing room..1 grey,1purplish,1 plain satin/silk black, 1 black printed silk n err one more i cant rmbr..d grey wan was too low..purplish wan looked like a pyjamas..it was a tie between d silk n d satin/silk wan..mum liked d satin/silk but i liked d cuttin of d silk wan..more me..but it was abit loose n d pieces left were not properly handled n torn at d zip end..tried on d satin/silk wan n it fitted perfectly n mum had a smile on her face n i felt dat it cud go with anything..so ya..got dat..n while walkin to d cashier, saw another lace typed top..in purple! hehe..asked mum n she said go try..it was a GO..so with dat, we ended our shoppin n headed for makan cos we were both tired n hungry..hahaa..

after dat headed to Coliseum area to find parkin n made reservations..went across d road to Nagoya Material Store to check out some materials for future usage..n guess wat..we found d perfect color n material for d dress i was suppose to make but d tailor said cudnt find material...=.= so din wanna say anythin abt tryin to get it done by xmas but i slipped it out my mouth..den mum said, but u got ur dress alredi..den i said, can make it for cny den..=/ thank god she din scold..=/ d dress wasnt dat cheap...so ya..

den bought d material n den headed over to Coliseum n met up wit d rest for dinner..d Sizzling Steak was no doubt *HANDSDOWN* to them man..it tasted so good dat i wanted to get recipe..haha..but boy was d old man grumpy..=/ he insisted dat my mum waited for d main course to finish b4 serving her dessert which she wanted to come out first..hahah

neways, I am very happy n contented for today..hehe..it very much covered up d emo-ness n complicatedness of yesterday..hehe..

Decorations go on

so as i said i'd continue my long weekend..yest was a public holiday so everyone was home n i woke up pretty late cos of 3 late nites in a row..but it doesnt end there..hehe..woke up ard 11 n headed out for branch wit family..came home ard 12+ n i was figuring out wat to do..so since i told myself i'd set up d xmas tree dis week..i made my way to d store room n got d tree,reefs n decos out..havin to decide on where to place d tree dis year and how to put d reef up and rearrangin d sofa's took me awhile..lolz..

once everything was set in place, it was time to put up d lights on d tree..boy i think every year i have problems wit d lights..either not enuf or d bulbs fius or wiring loose..jus got somethin dat gotto do wit lights..neways after almost a couple of hours..i finally got d lights up nicely..arms were hurting aledi..

den while i was startin to put d baubles up, sis came bak wit her prof,Evan(my mums long lost brother cos they somewhat look alike)..hehe..den sis needed some help wit wrapping..n so i had to quickly think of a style to wrap..my sis called it another work of art tho it was jus a simple do..
had a quick dinner..first time eatin so much rice at home =/ den it was bak to d tree..

i wud say i was quite dizzy while decorating it half way..color coordination n balancing of sides which i used to b very particular abt was jus neglected n i jus wanted d tree to b done asap..was jus too tired..n after 8 hours on d tree..dis is d final look of my xmas tree of 2008..

neways after a whole day of decorating..i still had dance prac for our dinner next friday..we've decided to dance Danity Kane's Damaged dis year..dance steps from d video are so not easy to follow but we manage to cover a minute plus within an hour plus..hehe..still gotto master d steps cos the beat is quite fast n changing of steps r aso in a split second..so ya..

was suppose to sleepover at the chins but i was realli too tired to stay up any later..had to come home to my bed n crash..=/ so i left ard 11.45..blogged n chat a while den slept dead till abt 9..

Woke up at 10 n saw a msg from godbro..Mr. Nick Seow..he asked to go for bkfs wit him..went to fetch him cos he was too lazy to drive..useless fella..so drove to fan wah restaurant for branch..n after dat went over to oldtown to GOSSIP..can u imagine a guy like him act loves gossipin abt other ppl..*shakes head*..after an hour or so..he said he had to head to the curve..so dropped him bak n i went to kris..lepak her place n read a bit of twilight..got very interested wit d book tat i wanted to go get d book immediately..hehe..so neways..headed to buy some lunch for bro n herself..den came home to finish decorating d hanging reef n stairs..it din take s long cos d lights was up d.

oh well..i jus wanna know more abt d story and wat happens..i know its very fairytale like n may not happen real life but i realli wish half the things happen in d book can happen real life lor..sighh..i know im gonna get emo over d story but i love reading it..n its not often i sit down n read..i think its d first time kris saw me reading to intensively..i think dat might jus b my xmas wish..hahaha..*hint hint*
